Ava Agostinelli

Ava Agostinelli is a ballet artist whose work bridges the precision of classical technique with the expressive depth of contemporary movement. She currently trains with renowned coaches Aaron Jackson of The Washington Ballet and Hilary Nicolai of the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, ABT JKO, and the School of American Ballet, while continuing to build a diverse professional performance career.
Ava is a trainee with Moveius Contemporary Ballet in Washington, D.C., where she has performed both corps and featured roles in Diana Movius’s Forever is a Feeling, Alvaro Palau’s Love Language, and the company’s trainee showcase. Previously, she danced with Capital Ballet, performing in productions including Swan Lake, Don Quixote, An American in Paris, and original works by Louisa Chapman Mejeur, Therese Gahl, and Christianne Campbell.
Her additional performance credits include appearances with KTM Extreme Dance Project, Gabriel Mata’s Primer Impacto at Dance Loft Presents, the Aurora Dance Festival, ICONS Choreographic Institute, and the title role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker with AC Dance NJ.
A graduate of American University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Law, Economics, and Government with Cum Laude honors, Ava combines artistic excellence with intellectual curiosity. Her training has included programs with The Washington School of Ballet, American Ballet Theatre’s Collegiate Program, Dutch National Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and New Jersey Ballet.
Through both classical and contemporary repertoire, Ava is dedicated to creating performances that are technically refined, emotionally resonant, and deeply engaging for audiences.
