Mary-Victoria Voutsas
Pianist
Mary-Victoria Voutsas, pianist, has performed recitals at venues including the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage and Terrace Theatre, the Harvard Hellenic Center, numerous universities, and embassies. She has collaborated with ensembles as a soloist, including on harpsichord with the Peabody Chamber Orchestra for Rob Kapilow’s “What Makes it Great,” and as a chamber pianist with members of the National Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she served as the pianist for the celebration of the 75th NATO Summit and recently completed a ten-week artist residency with the World Bank. Her recordings and arrangements of the works of Manos Hadjidakis and other Hellenic composers can be found on all streaming platforms.
Voutsas studied under Nikita Fitenko, Yuliya Gorenman, and Tatyana Hearne, and holds a DMA & MM in performance and pedagogy. Her awards include the Bronze Medal at the Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition in 2023. Her ensemble, Salon Trio, secured second place at the Lancaster International Piano Festival in 2024 and received the overall prize at the International Music Grand Prix in 2025. She has served as a visiting teaching artist-in-residence at the Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts. Currently, she teaches theory and serves as a collaborative pianist at Virginia Commonwealth University, and as pianist in residence at the National Church.
