Alexandra Dine

Poet

Alexandra Dine is a St. Louis-born, Queens-based poet, literary-events curator and piano teacher. Her decade+ of teaching in New York City schools informs her multidisciplinary art as she binds creating to experiencing. Inspired by her profession’s lyrical sheen (children are utter truth-tellers and translators), in 2022 she created the reading series known as “The Space Between” and in 2024 she launched her own piano studio. Her tri-borough abstract series juxtaposes poetry with performance art in an effort to bridge and disrupt our worlds.
